Agustín Pío Barrios (1885-1944)

This site is inspired in this man. He had an incredible love and passion for music and the guitar.

The name of this site is inspired in a poem he wrote (yes, he did write poetry), in which he described the strings of his guitar as Six Silver Moonbeams, gifted by the goddess Jasy, to “uncover the secrets of the misterious box”(the guitar).

That is the objective of this site, to uncover the secrets of music. I want to share some of the music that I discovered and love. I want to show it to the world.

I am a guitarist, so, many things in this site are for that instrument, like the sheet music I have for download. If you aren't a musician or guitarist you will find many things of interest anyway, I have good quality articles and music for download. I hope you enjoy your stay.
